Radiohead is an Epic Games Computer storage exclusive
Radiohead will release an interactive digital exhibition to celebrate the 21-year day of remembrance of the group's celebrated Kid A and Amnesiac albums. Announced during Sony's PS5-oriented Body politic of Looseness today, the puzzle above confirms a November release window for the Epic Games Memory unshared (it's also coming to PS5).
The Kid A Mnesia Expo is a collaboration betwixt studios namethemachine , Arbitrarily Good Productions and Heroic poem Games, with noted Radiohead collaborators Stanley Donwood and Nigel Godrich providing artwork and audio design severally. And, of class, music from those cardinal Radiohead albums volition feature.
The trailer is mistily reminiscent of the artwork that accompanied those albums back in the early 2000s, with Donwood's art graffitied onto gritty cement walls in a Moderate-esque industrialized environment. It does seem a tad edgier though, only the trailer's introduction probably requisite to sex things up a bit, especially given its unveiling at a Sony shindig.
No articulate on price, or to what extent IT'll be interactive: I'm guess you'll wander around environments while songs from the two albums play. It's not the first time an artist has released a game to concur with a new record album: Hall porter's 2012 LP EXO was accompanied by an extremely weird explorable first-person environment.
As for those deuce albums, they're being reissued together with a crowd of never-before-heard corporeal on November 5, which is probably the take date the exhibition will land.
- Correction: A previous version of this article omitted Arbitrarily Good Productions A a co-developer connected the propose. It's been added.
